Casino event 2
Thursday 22nd October

I'm in the kitchen at home, sitting at the dining table waiting for food to cook. I've put on the Best of Prince Cassette 1 playing songs like Uptown. It reminds me of going out lots, driving along the M56. The time when I med Ed the saxophonist in the Cornerhouse and we drove to see him play in the pub - Uptown was playing in the car as we powered across the city in the Volvo.
It reminds me of meeting my girlfriend in Font bar, our first few dates, driving to my place at 3am in the morning.
Also going out dancing every week to nightclubs. Feeling a great vibe.
I've really had a lot of fun.

I eat dinner. Get changed. Drive to the city and park the car near the Northern College of Music.

I walk into the Burlington Rooms and am greeted by Jenny.
Jenny: "Hi. How are you?!" she says happy and surprised to see me.
Me: "I'm good thanks. How are you?"
Jenny: "Good."
We chat for a minute. I collect my chocolates and start gambling.

It's a casino themed night played with sweets.
Chewy sticks - 1
After dinner mint - 5
Viscount - 20
Fudge bar - 100

At the start of the night everyone is given a pint glass with about 200 points.

I win lots of Viscounts on roulette and then eat most of my winings. I progress to the craps table. The same great croupier guy is on as last year. I play a few games. Then I start to gamble big.
Croupier: "We need someone new to throw the dice."
A guy volunteers.
Him: "I'll do it."
He plays a few throws. Then
Croupier: "Place your bets."
I bet on 100 to lose.
Croupier says to me: "So you're betting he's a loser!"
Croupier says to the crowd referring to me: "He always walks out of here with loads of fudge bars!"
Another guy playing at the table copies my bet of 100.
Croupier: "He bets 100 as well."
Croupier: "Roll the dice."
The guy rolls.
Croupier: "10! Double your bets!"
We double our bets. He throws again.
Croupier: "Lose!"
Me and the guy who have bet 200 each on 'lose' Hi-Five.

I end up with the most winnings here. I've got about 800 points. I could wait until 11pm to collect a prize but now it's 10pm and I want to go to bed. I chat to some people and go home.

At home I drink a large bottle of San Miguel and eat crackers and cheese while watching an episode of Miami Vice (TV series) on the projector. Then I go to bed.
